Advantages of aluminum alloys：
A380 aluminum alloy has excellent casting performance, airtightness, and high mechanical properties, making it suitable for casting parts that require high strength, working temperature, and good airtightness. It can also be used as other parts such as pistons that require wear resistance, stable size and volume, and good heat transfer performance. Mainly used for die casting, sand and metal molds can also be used for casting. Unlike ZL108 alloy, it reduces the Si content and increases the Cu content that plays a role in solid solution strengthening and precipitation hardening. Therefore, its room temperature and high temperature performance are better than those of ZL108 alloy.
A380 aluminum alloy has good mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperature, average plasticity, average welding and cutting performance, but poor fluidity, tendency towards hot cracking, and poor corrosion resistance. It is suitable for casting structural components that work at high temperatures (200-300 ℃) or parts that withstand large dynamic or static loads at room temperature, as well as parts that work at low temperatures (-70 ℃). Use sand molds more often for casting.

Mainly used for die casting, sand and metal molds can also be used for casting.
